Automatic train operation on traditional railway lines
Why has automatic train operation (ATO) not yet been developed and implemented on traditional railway lines (excluding underground and tramway systems)? The Auto-Ferrivia interest group (www.autoferrivia.ch) consists of experienced railway experts from the areas of infrastructure, rolling stock and operations.
