En route to a digital future with BIM
When new construction projects are created, digital models are now used to improve cost efficiency and to save time. This is not only the case when planning the structure, but also during its implementation and subsequent operation. The future of construction is within easy reach with BIM. This is being demonstrated by one of the pilot projects at DB. Building processes and costs are linked on the basis of a 3D model in order to simulate their progress.
